Honeycomb at CBDNA National Conference
- Posted March 11, 2017 -
At the Kauffman Center for the performing arts on March 16th, the University of Georgia's Hodgson Wind Ensemble will perform Honeycomb, for wind ensemble and electronics, as part of the CBDNA National Conference in Kansas City, MO. Led by Cynthia Johnston Turner, the Honeycomb performance will feature special guest conductor Jaclyn Hartenberger.
Honeycomb is the centerpiece of my dissertation work, and the electronic component features the spatialization and mapping of 32 different audio tracks to the audience's web-enabled devices, to play in synchronicity with the live ensemble. The delivery and synchronization of the music will be executed by new streaming technology SynkroTakt, created by three other musician/technologists and myself.
